Kristin Fisher has joined CNN on July 20, 2021. She is CNN's Space and Defense Correspondent. In this role, Fisher will cover everything including NASA's new Space Force to commercial space companies and space tourism. Kristin was raised in the field of space as the granddaughter and daughter of NASA astronauts. In the past five years, she has reported on space policy during the Biden and Trump administrations in FOX News. During that time, she also covered presidential impeachment proceedings, the 2020 Presidential campaign as well as efforts of two administrations in order to combat the Coronavirus pandemic. Kristin was on the road extensively, both with the president and vice-president. She even went on an extremely secret trip to Afghanistan along with Donald Trump.
